Area Plan

Planning and implementation are the central functions of the RC&D Council and NRCS partnership. The Area Plan serves as a strategic plan for the SCW RC&D Area for a five-year period. This living document lays out the goals for the Council to accomplish through the RC&D Program based on well-defined needs and opportunities. Area Plans must describe the needs and opportunities facing the Area as they relate to each of program elements: Land Conservation and Management, Water Conservation & Management, and Community Development.

Our FY 2011 - 2015 Area Plan Draft is now available for review and comments.  You can download it here: Area Plan, FY2011 - 2015 [pdf 1.0 MB]

Annual Plan

The Annual Plan of Work is the operational and management tool to implement the Area Plan. It is used to direct the yearly schedule of work toward specific objectives established in the Area Plan. The Plan is an implementation schedule of the highest priority projects and activities that can be accomplished in the immediate future. We finalized and approved our 2009 Annual Plan of Work in January. If you would like more information about this plan, please Contact Us.
