Area and Annual Plans

Area Plan

Planning and implementation are the central functions of the RC&D Council and NRCS partnership. The Area Plan serves as a strategic plan for the SCW RC&D Area for a five-year period. This living document lays out the goals for the Council to accomplish through the RC&D Program based on well-defined needs and opportunities. Area Plans must describe the needs and opportunities facing the Area as they relate to each of program elements: Land Conservation, Water Management, Community Development, and Land Management.

Let us know what you think! We appreciate public input on the needs and opportunities here in our region.  If you would like to let us know what you think is important in our area, please fill out and send us the attached Area Plan Survey Form [word file 368 KB], or ask us for a link to our online survey (see Contact Us below). We will compile this information to be used when creating our next 5-year Area Plan.

There are other ways that you can be involved in the development of the Area Plan for 2010-2014. For more information, please Contact Us.

Annual Plan

The Annual Plan of Work is the operational and management tool to implement the Area Plan. It is used to direct the yearly schedule of work toward specific objectives established in the Area Plan. The Plan is an implementation schedule of the highest priority projects and activities that can be accomplished in the immediate future. We finalized and approved our 2009 Annual Plan of Work in January. If you would like more information about this plan, please Contact Us.
