There are many ways to get involved with the great work that your local RC&D Council and their partners are doing. Come to a board or planning meeting, volunteer your time or skills, become a partner on our many projects, help us identify resource needs in our communities, or even make a technical, material, or financial contribution.
The SCW RC&D Council meets every other month starting in January at our annual meeting. We typically meet the first Tuesday of the month, with exceptions around holiday weeks. We encourage the public to attend meetings to find out more about the Council and what we are doing. If you are considering being a sponsor, or would like to bring a project idea (see Projects and Programs) to the Council, please Contact Us at least two weeks before a regular meeting.
Meetings are bimonthly, starting in January, and are generally on the first Thursday of every other month, with some exceptions around holidays, and typically occur at the USDA Service Center in Yakima (1606 Perry St.). They start at 10:00 a.m. and last until approximately noon. Estimated upcoming RC&D Board meeting dates are:
Note: Meetings can be rescheduled with short notice; please check back for latest schedule or Join Our Mailing List for the latest information on any changes and to be sent agendas and agenda packets.
