The South Central Washington Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council is dedicated to the conservation of natural resources for the benefit of local communities. We do this by forming partnerships with other local organizations to gather resources needed to solve problems in the areas we currently serve: Kittitas, Yakima, Benton, Klickitat, and Skamania counties. The RC&D council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We provide many services to the community such as:

We strive to improve the quality of our community through Natural Resource Conservation and Community Development projects. The RC&D Program is administered by the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS).
