The South Central Washington RC&D is proud to assist the Washington State RC&D Association with the administration of the Save Water Save Energy Program in 2012.

We, along with several RC&Ds across the Pacific Northwest, have partnered with the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to assist Local Public Utilities deliver Energy Efficiency cash incentives to agricultural producers. At no cost, Energy Analysts work with agricultural producers and rural small businesses to reduce on farm energy consumption and find funding for energy improvement projects. Our services include:

  • Onsite energy assesssment
  • Establish eligibility
  • Arrange energy audits when needed for grant applications
  • Estimate energy costs and submit to BPA engineers
  • Review project bids with producers to help determine practicality
  • Identify, develop and get funding for energy improvement projects

We work to serve as the producers advocate to help improve energy efficiency on site. Our goal is to keep farmers farming! Go to the official Save Water Save Energy regional page for more info.
